There was a great turnout of 22 entries at the "Take a Kid Fishing Derby"
on July 9th - . It was great to see so many children enjoying their day
fishing with family and friends. It was wonderful to see their excitement as
their catch was weighed. A few fish tried to wiggle away, but were quickly
pounced upon and returned to the weigh scales.  Below the first, second,
and third winners are recorded. All participants were felt to be winners
and went home very happily with a prize.

A big thank you is deserved by Bronwyn Sage and her sister-in-law
Kathy for organizing a great event that left many kids on Wollaston Lake
very happy.   Bev and Bill Meyers also warrant our continued
appreciation for their help and support.
